CKO Sprint/CKBC British Columbia Training Camp In partnership with Canoe Kayak BC, CKO Sprint will be hosting a training camp in Burnaby, BC. Due to the increased public health measures for the Vancouver area in effect until November 23rd, we are delaying the release of the information package until after that date. Based on updated regulations, we will modify our plan ensuring a safe training environment for all camp participants. General camp details include: Dates - March 15, 2021 - April 11, 2021 (2, 3 & 4 week options) Accommodation - Fortius Sport Centre www.fortiussport.com Training location - Burnaby Lake Rowing Pavilion and various locations in the Vancouver area Target athlete group - athletes with training objectives and competition goals that are closely tied to performance results at the 2021 national and provincial team trials. 2020-2021 Ontario Team CKO Sprint's 2020-2021 Ontario Team Program (OHPSI, OAAP & Development Team) nominations are based on our 2019-2020 nominations with the following additions:
CKO Sprint's 2020-2024 Strategic Plan Over the winter we conducted a comprehensive program and services review which provided the framework for our draft 2020-2024 Strategic Plan (found here). We are asking all stakeholders (athletes, coaches, clubs, officials and volunteers) to review the plan and provide feedback to ryan@ckosprint.ca by November 30, 2020. Ontario Power Ranking Challenge & Professional Development Similar to our summer challenges, we are hosting monthly virtual challenges for our community to test their physical performance and compete with paddlers across the province. In addition, we will continue with our Webinar Series by providing monthly professional development sessions for the paddling community.
