CKO Sprint's 2025 Strategic Plan

Canoe Kayak Ontario (CKO) Sprint is excited to publish our 2025 Strategic Plan (link). 
 
Throughout 2020, CKO Sprint undertook a comprehensive information gathering process including a detailed program and services review.  The review process included interviews with athletes, coaches, officials, and club administrators.  Their input provided the framework for our plan. 
 
The strategic plan includes CKO Sprint’s vision and mission, the guiding principles with respect to our decision-making process, and our goals and objectives in the four (4) target areas of Athlete Development, Organizational Excellence, Grassroots & Growth Development and Technical Leadership.  The plan also includes strategies to help CKO Sprint reach our goals, monitor success, as well as an ongoing review process. 
 
A key strength of our sport is the passion and dedication of our community.  On behalf of CKO Sprint, I would like to thank everyone who participated in the strategic planning process and for your leadership in the development and growth of our sport.  Thank you for everything you do.
